For more than a century, Junior League members have confronted society’s most pressing issues and tackled its toughest problems, leaving a legacy of reform like no other. Since its inception in 1923, members of the Junior League of Seattle (JLS) have worked to improve our community through mission-driven projects and hands-on work with many Community Partners. Each year, JLS members contribute over 45,000 hours of service to the community. Currently, the Junior League of Seattle is placing its focus, programs, and projects on Literacy.
In addition to their focus areas, the JLS also provides volunteers for short-term projects through Done in a Day and provides art education to over 19,000 King County students each year through Northwest Art Project.
