Enjoy special screenings of On the Brink, a new local documentary exploring the history and future of Seattle’s Central District.
Once one of the largest African American communities in the Pacific Northwest, the Central District is seeing this vibrant community and rich history threatened by disruption. On the Brink tells a universal story of the struggle to hold on to a sense of community in the face of change and find hope in a time of despair.
Screenings will be followed by a discussion with local community advocates Jesdarnel Henton and Donald I. King.
Please plan to arrive early as seating is limited and first come, first served. Doors to the theater will open 10 minutes before the presentation.
