Position Title: Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations
Reports to: Director of Development
Office Location: MOHAI Resource Center at Georgetown
Classification: Exempt, Full-time, Salaried

The Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations is responsible for generating unrestricted and project-based grant funding to support the overall contributed income goal for MOHAI. As an integral member of MOHAI’s professional development team, the Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations coordinates all activities associated with a growing grants program. Working cooperatively with the Director of Development and program staff, this position will enhance and build relationships with funding sources, including local and national private, public and corporate foundations. The activities of this role will support a broad range of organizational goals by aligning our public/private grants program with the organization’s strategic plan and initiatives and by providing a positive experience for funders. This position reports to the Director of Development and is a member of the Development department.
For more than 60 years, MOHAI has been dedicated to enriching lives by preserving, sharing, and teaching the diverse history of Seattle, the Puget Sound region and the nation. With a collection of nearly 4 million artifacts, photographs, oral histories and archival items, and an expansive schedule of exhibits and programs, MOHAI is the region’s premier history center. MOHAI operates a dramatic and award-winning museum in Lake Union Park in Seattle’s vibrant South Lake Union neighborhood, and a Resource Center in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. MOHAI also hosts the Bezos Center for Innovation, focusing on the history and future of innovation in the Puget Sound region.
