Each guided field trip requires one hour per class, and therefore the total length of a field trip depends on how many classes are visiting (a one or two class visit requires two hours; three classes requires three hours; four classes requires four hours etc.). Field trips last a minimum of two hours.
Please double-check that this departure time will work for your school before booking your field trip. If you require a shorter visit you may schedule a self-guided field trip instead, bring fewer classes, or spread your classes out over a second field trip.
This program requires a minimum of 2 classes (roughly 40-60 students) participating. Due to the resources used of this program, an additional $40 resource fee is charged per class. The Significance of Salmon is offered Tuesday through Friday only in collaboration with the Center for Wooden Boats, and is subject to availability at both locations.
Please note, MOHAI does not have indoor lunch facilities or permit outside food and drink in the Café. Groups must eat lunch out in the park except in cases of severe weather.
