Immediately following a screening of the documentary Live in Maui, fans and friends will have an opportunity to hear from Hendrix sister Janie Hendrix, discussing the making of the film, behind-the-scenes stories of Hendrix’s life, and the work of preserving his legacy. President and CEO of Experience Hendrix, the family company of the legendary musician, Ms. Hendrix will have a candid conversation with the audience, moderated by LaNesha DeBardelaben, President and CEO of the Northwest African American Museum.
This event is part of a weekend-long celebration of Jimi Hendrix’s 80th Birthday.
