History Café: Preserving the Showbox and Seattle’s Music Scene

With over 80 years of hosting top talent, the Showbox has claimed its place as a musical and cultural institution in Seattle. Performers ranging from Duke Ellington to the Ramones to Pearl Jam have graced the venue’s stage.
