First Thursday: Pride Family Fun

Visit MOHAI on the First Thursday of every month for free admission to the museum’s permanent exhibits between 5 pm-8 pm.

On this First Thursday, MOHAI offers a special welcome to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) families. Learn how to Vogue with Ladie Chablis. Enjoy virtual and onsite screenings of queer films from Three Dollar Bill Cinema, contribute to a community art project on queer legacies, a take home some memories with a photo booth.

Howard Russell aka Ladie Chablis is a legendary entertainer. Howard has been performing for over 25 years and owns the longest running drag show in all of Washington State. He also has a sold out brunch show at Taqueria Cantina in downtown Seattle. Howard’s belief is anybody can entertain we just need to give them a stage to perform.

Free admission includes access to True Northwest: The Seattle Journey and the Bezos Center for Innovation.

Advance Online Tickets are not required but may be reserved below. Voguing lesson spots are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
