ENGAGE: The Art of Protest

This event has passed.

Each year, many Americans participate in protests, often for the first time. Learn about our region’s rich history of protest art and how it has changed over the years with longtime activist and artist Lisa Bade, then make your own art in a hands-on workshop with organizer and climate activist Shemona Moreno of 350 Seattle. Protest artifacts from the MOHAI collection will be on display during the program.

Enjoy snacks, discussion, and fun while learning how to directly impact democracy!

For disability accommodations, please contact programs@mohai.org two weeks prior to the event.

Location: MOHAI, South Lake Café

Cost: Free for MOHAI members / $10 general public
