Celebrate Seattle’s Culinary Culture
Mayor Edward B. Murray has officially proclaimed April 2017 to be Edible City Month in Seattle. Join MOHAI and the region’s top restaurants, chefs, and organizations as we celebrate Puget Sound’s passion for food and culture. During the month of April, diners can explore Seattle’s food scene and unlock special pricing to see the Edible City exhibit in the following ways:
- Visiting any one of the participating restaurant partners listed below or participating Seattle Restaurant Week (April 2-6 and April 9 – 13, 2017) restaurants and save the receipt to receive $2.00 off one adult admission to the Edible City exhibit. (Just a reminder that children 14 and under are free)
- Collecting six receipts from participating restaurants for one complimentary adult admission to the Edible City exhibit.
- Becoming a MOHAI member to experience all Edible City has to offer–including special member-only savings with Edible City Month partners. Museum members are invited to attend MOHAI’s annual Member Night with a book signing by exhibit curator Rebekah Denn and a sneak peek of Seattle on the Spot: The Photographs of Al Smith by David Unger, PhD, Director of Curatorial Services, on April 18th from 6:30-9:00 pm.
Unique culinary events and programs will take place across the city including an Edible City book community tour, a live broadcast of KIRO radio’s Seattle Kitchen with Tom Douglas and Thierry Rautureau and a food science fair.
